PlayMemories Home installation fail

Hi,

I have a new Windows 10 installed.

 

I just downloaded PMH 5.5.01 and run the installation. After the installation program finished I got an error message:

'The installation failed. If you continue to use this application, some features may run unexpectedly. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the application. '

 

I have done this twice with the same result. Of course, I have switched off and turned on the PC after uninstallation before I made a new installation.

 

What to do now?

Hopr one of you are able to help.

Hi @Kastoft and welcome to the Community  :slight_smile:

 

Its possibly a conflict between the latest Windows 10 updates

and PlayMemories.

 

It may be worth you attempting to install it using the full module installer

(which allows you to install PlayMemories Home without downloading its related files during installation),

or even see if the PlayMemories repair tool can help.

I think its probably best to contact Support about this

in case they are aware of any current issues.
