Sony dsc-hx90 - cannot import photos onto Mac with High Sierra system.

Camera recognised by my Mac but when I connect it and PlayMemories Home software kicks in, my Mac starts 'screaming' and gets hot, so I have to quit. I don't know if latest High Sierra system is the problem or my software (I re-downloaded from Sony site today).

Any ideas how to import my photos please? I can't even get the wifi auto imort connection sorted as PlayMemories Home insists on starting up.

Thanks

Hello @PattyGib,

you can always manually import the photo from the memory card (with a card reader) or by manually navigating to the cameras memory card when it is plugged in.

The photos are usually stored in the folder "DCIM" while videos are somewhere in the "PRIVATE" directory.
