You can change the screen display by selecting DISP on the control wheel..
Press DISP on the control wheel & you should see three options, Off, On & Detailed
Off - only the image is displayed..
On - Image, Battery level, Date, etc is displayed..
Detailed - Image, Battery level, Date, Histogram, etc is displayed..
Select the desired mode with the control wheel, then press the inner wheel to confirm..
