WX220 taking photos during video recording

So from everything I read this is possible. However, I can't seem to get it to work. I tried all the different video modes but when I press the shutter button during it nothing works.

On aTX30 (which I have experience with), you get a symbol that the pictures are temporarily stored in the buffer, after video recording it's written to the memorycard. 

So you don't really see anything happen, except for the symbol.

Are you sure you aren't getting any pictures on the memorycard? Maybe (but I don't have the same camera) you have to enable some kind of dual-recording function. (Dual recording generally means that you can record in 2 video formats)

Were you able to find anything in the manual? If not, I'll have a look later
