I had this laptop since 2009 but after I damaged the screen it sat in the closet for 3 years. I recently purchased a new led screen and installed it. The new screen is jumpy and has a lot of horizontal fuzzy lines. This laptop came with Windows 7 Home Premium but when I powered it up and saw the lines I turned it off and ran system recovery. While the system recovery was running the screen was perfect, but as soon as the recovery was complete and laptop rebooted the same problem was back. I also hooked up an external monitor using an Hdmi cable and the picture is perfect. I'm looking for some ideas, whether I should consider it was a bad screen and try another screen. Is this a problem with these laptops and Windows 7? Please help.
