Audio Input to GigaJuke NAS-SC500PK

I am trying to play a Record Deck through the Giga Juke NAS-SC500PK

Record deck is a Sony PS-LX56 and I plugged in the Audio Jack plugs to the Audio In connections on the back of the Giga Juke

It did play but only very faintly even on full volume

Did I do something wrong?

Is there a fix for this?

Regards

Simon

Hi Simon

Like almost every device of this kind, the GigaJuke is not equipped with an on-board phono stage. This is an important requirement, as the output from the turntable is extremely low and requires a specific type of pre-amp to bring it up to a useful level.

Fortunatley the recent resurgence of interest in vinyl has produced a large range of quality phono preamps at very reasonable prices. Have a search about; you should be able to pick up a decent one for around £30.

If you have any trouble setting it up just let me know
