CMTG2BNIP Micro HiFi Installation question

I'd like to install this micro hifi unit in a glass fronted but rear ventilated cabinet (it's a TV/media cabinet designed to hold electrionic equipment), but the manual for this unit says not to install in a bookcase, so wondered if this would be OK ?  I already have heat generating equipment inthe unit eg sky box and dvd player.

I personally try to keep sound equipment and also speakers as ventilated as possible (same with PC). Depends which Hi-Fi it is I guess?

By rear ventilation I hope you don't mean one or inches away from the wall.. I recommend ventilation above the unit too,.
