Ghifi fault

I was recently gifted a  CMT-FX300i hifi,it turns on everything seems to be working just that is no sound emitting from the speakers from any of the functions or cd,radio....also I didn't receive a remote with it.

Hi – there are a few troubleshooting steps you could perform to isolate the problem.

Try plugging headphones in and switching to 'radio'. If you get sound, the receiver/amplifier is ok and you should check the speaker connections.

Make sure the speaker cables are connected properly. Check the User Guide to see how they should be hooked up.

Check the 'Troubleshooting' section of the guide.

If you still have no sound, get back to us and we'll take it from there
