How do I change the belt on a Sony XO-D1 Hifi system

Unfortunately I am unable to locate anything officail on the sony support pages but searching the net does seem to return sites reporting to have service manuals available for download so you may want to check this out for yourself..

If on checking the service manuals do not have the info you require let us know & we'll see if anyone in Sony can offer any assistance..:smileyconfused:

Hi Thalamus

Many thanks for your reply.  I have downloaded such a manual and it was very instructive in how to do everything apart from put the belt back on!  The issue is that I tried to take it off and make a note of where it went round, but couldn't lift the turntable plate enough to see before the belt 'pinged' off.

unfortunately Sony was not able to provide a guide for replacing the belt on your Sony XO-D1 Hifi system..:smileysad:

If you are unable to locate a guide on the net perhaps a local repair specialist in your area may be able to help..:smileyconfused:
