ht-ct60bt sound dropping out

I have my ht-ct60bt connected to my bravia television and am using a youview humax box for my provider. When I am watching the tv for a short length of time i start to notice the sound dropping off for a few seconds every so often, especially when the adverts are on, it seems at the beginning of every advert in the duration of a commercial break and sometimes throughout the advert the sound completely disappears for a few seconds then comes back, it does it all the time, sometimes during a show or film when the scene changes, it is very annoyin, i changed some sound settings on my tv as per a phone call with sony support and it hasn't helped, they suggested changing the output signal to external speakers Where I did have it on tv speakers so could use both the tv and the soundbar simultaneousl, using these settings you could still hear the sound coming out of the tv when the soundbar dropped out just in much worse quality and quieter, this told me that the problem wasn't with the tv or the youview system, but now with the suggested settings it just goes completely silent when it drops out. Is there a problem with my soundbar? The person I spoke to from sony told me if the setting change didn't work i might need to return it for another, I'm just wondering if anyone else had the same problem and don't want to change it for another of the same soundbar if I'll end up with the same problem.
Thanks

Hi, did you find a fix for this problem? I've got exactly the same issues and wondered if you had to change the soundbar or whether it could be fixed through some settings. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi there, I actually got a replacement from Sony as they said it was
probably a defective model and I had exactly the same issue with it too. So
ended up returning it and getting a Samsung one of similar value, it's far
better, the bass isn't quite as heavy but other than that it's way better,
can select effects etc and most importantly no audio drop out! Only
annoying thing now is I have a Sony tv and a Samsung bar and I'm a bit ocd
with my branding, I've got Sony phone and tablet too, but Samsung are
winning the low end Soundbar war I'm afraid. Hope this helps.

Ok mate, thanks for the reply. I guess I'll have to take it up with Sony
directly then. Appreciate the advice, thanks again.
