SONY-TA1000 and Active Speakers paradox

Dear everybody, I choose to use AudioPro "A-48" Active Speakers combined with AudioPro "Drumfire" Active Sub-Woofer with my Sony-TA1000, and the sound-quality is not of this earth, even when TA-1000 is connected through Analog Line-Out. So the question remains: 1) How do I connect into my Active Speakers from Sony-Ta1000 using a) HDMI, b) Optical Toslink. 2) How do I perform the sound-calibration routines when my SONY-TA1000 is not connected to any passive speakers, but rather set up as a "2.1." speaker-system? Please help, this sucks!

Hey @rong.norway

First of all, you need to make sure that the turntable is up-to-date, you can find the firmware version here: https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/audio-components-receivers-amplifiers/ta-an1000/software/...

Also, what channel type are your speakers ?

The help guide of the device gives an example for installing speakers, you can check this one too: https://helpguide.sony.net/ha/strtaan10/v1/en/contents/TP1000550468.html

Thanks, you mean well, and it passes as an effort to resolve this universal paradigm shift, and there's enough.

Turntable? You mean LP-player? Good heavens, that's quite a stretch from my question about Powered Speakers joint to Powered Amplififer.

Think no more of it, it's really an academic exercise in the impossible.
