Thinking about buying the Sony BDP-S4100, but you require an alternate dongle to connect to wi-fi. And after some research I found you need to buy a sony brand one which I don't think they even produce anymore, so for example could I use this and it would work? Or any other alternates?
Hi itsjoseph, no you cannot use a any wireless dongle only the Sony UWA-BR100 will work. Homeplugs, which are widely available form amazon, etc., is an alternative option that you could use to connect your device to the internet.
If you have not heard of them before then Homeplugs basically allow you to share data over your homes electrical system.:smileywink:
