ARC after standby on sony soundbar

Hi, I've set up hdmi cables from sky and blu-ray player to my Sony soundbar, with the TV (Sony w75c Android tv) connected through hdmi arc. All works fine apart from when the soundbar goes into standby. When I wake the TV /soundbar and start playing an app such as YouTube the soundbar does not wake back up and the TV uses the internal speakers. I think this must be linked to the arc function,  as this does not happen when the sky box or blu-ray is started back up. Is there a setting to get round this?  Any help appreciated.

Thanks for looking into this. I have just checked and this issue does seem
to impact audio from any source, not just ARC. So even if I switch to the
Sky box the TV will continue to use the internal speakers.
