Hi,
The audio return channel on my BDV E380 has stopped working about a week after purchase.
It is connected to a new Samsung UE55D8000 via the ARC channel on the TV to the HDMI out ARC on the Cinema System.
It was working on the 'TV' function of the Cinema System, but now I get nothing through the speakers. I have reset both the tv and the cinema system back to default setting in case it was something I changed. I have also updated the firmware on the TV and the Cinema Systems but I still get nothing through the speakers from the TV.
I have now connected my Sky HD+ box to the Sony System with an optical cable, and on the 'TV' function the sound is coming through the speakers of the E380. This, however, obviously doesn't get the sound from my xBox, PC or Freeview which ase also used on the TV.
I am using high quality, gold plated 1.4a HDMI cables between the tv and the Sony System.
Any ideas how to get it working or how I can test wehat might be at fault?
