on some discs i find the disc stalling,and,a sign saying out of range pops upafter a couple of minutes it restarts.it can do this a few times during the play have changedthe,hdmi cables to no avail my tv is also a sony. malkyem

sorry for the delay in getting back yes firmware was updated, took it back and got replacement on22nd june it now wont respond to handset will play blueray discc but nothing else no menu so cant update when needed its going back also im going back to my old dvd recorder cant be bothered with all the hassle

just an update on bdp 390,i unplugged it ready to take back,i decided to try it upstairs as my daughter has the 185,it worked perfectly then tried it in another room worked perfectly there also.took it back downstairs to main tele sonybravia s just plays bluerays nothing else no gracenote or menu response on handset
