BDP-S185 Fault AFTER Firmware Update

Hi There,

I have just updated the firmware on my Blu-Ray player BDP-S185 from M09.R.0025 (I think) to M09.R.0033. I now get flashing white fuzzy blocks appearing on the screen even when I play a disc. (see picture attached)

Also the audio is now intermittantly not working. The player was working fine pre-update.

Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried doing a full reset of the device via the settings menu?

Yeah, but it still says that the Firmware version is 033, still faulty...

In that case I'd get it checked into your local service centre. Its still under warranty so should be an easy job to get sorted.
