BDP - S390 Blue Ray Player

Hi community

I have a BDP-S390 blue ray player connected to my home server running MS Home Server 2011 from which I can view films in the video libray.

My problem is that if I update the library the updates do not come through on the Blue Ray player. I cannot find instructions on how to update the player. I have deleted the server from the player and reconnected it but to no avail.

can anyone please instruct me as to what I am doind wrong. Any help appriciated.

Hi there

Unfortunately this issue is nothing to do with the bluray player, its the indexing service on the WHS 2011.  Googling this issue, i have found this:

1)Please try server reboot.
2)After reboot, turn off media streaming from server dashboard.
3)Stop the  "windows media player network sharing service"
4)Rename the "currentdatabase_" file in C:\Users\MediaStreamingAdmin\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Media Player
5)Start the "windows media player network sharing service"
6)Turn on media streaming from server dashboard.Immediately, the database file is recreated.
