Blu-ray Player BDP-S3700

My Blu-ray player (BDP-S3700) stopped working a few days ago. It was purchased in April 2022. After watching Netflix, I tried to go back to the home page but the screen went black.  Since then the player has been completely unresponsive.  I cannot use the disc player either.  I have unplugged it etc.  The green light comes on when I plug it in again but cannot be switched off manually or using the remote.  I have checked that the remote is working.  I can't access the home screen at all to check settings, etc.  Can anyone help or is this a fault I won't be able to fix?

have you reset it? In the manual there are steps listed on how to reset it.

Hello.

 

Many thanks for your reply  I can't reset it as I am unable to access the home screen. Or is there another way of resetting?

Quick update. After two weeks or more, my Blu-ray player started to work again. I've absolutely no idea why. It's a bit of a mystery. If it breaks down again I shall return it under the warranty.
