Blu Ray / Surroound sound issue.

Hi

I Have a liitle bdp s185 connected to a strdh520 surround sound amp. Now for a few eeeks everything is hunky dory, but now, when I play a Blu Ray it displays LPCM 48 on the display, and wont play sound in DTS HD or True Hd or whatever system the particular fil I'm watching uses. Now when I play DVD's through, it'll show Digital 5.1 or DTS and pick it up fine. This seems to be happening afetr the latest firmware update for the blu ray player. Although surrpund sound still sounds great, it's not working as it should and it's driving me a bit mad!!!

Please help!!

Hi,

since your problem has only started after updating the firmware it is possible as is often the case you will need to re set some of the sound field settings again as they may have returned to default state.

worth checking just in case.
