Connecting BDP-S560 to internet ?

I have the above player and have set up the connection .The connection has been confirmed on the tv. However the tv is not "seeing" the computer.

We have disabled my computer firewall but same problem.

The TV is a recent Samsung model.

All settings done on auto.

Any suggestions please.?

Hi,

i believe you have 2 separate issues here, firstly the blu ray player when connected to the internet will rely on media from your pc either by using media player or a media server like serviio and you would need to set up a "network" between the two, the tv on the other hand as you describe not "seeing" the computer could be that it relies on Samsungs Allshare, so might be worth looking at that
