Connecting to Sony SU-B461S sound bar

I have just purchased a Sony SU-B461S sound bar, and have connected it to my Sony KDL-46V5810 TV,

To the tv I have connected a virgin media box, which at present is connected through the sound bar, sound is clear and controlled with the remote for the tv. However I also have a Sony DVD player RDR-GX350 and a Sony Blue Ray player BDP-S300 which are connected to the tv using HDMi cables. Can anyone suggest a way for me to be able to get sound through the sound bar from any of my connected players without having to swap the connections each time?

Many thanks

John

Hi,

not sure what you have done here, so i'll run you though how mine is, from the soundbar to tv HDMI 1, from the Virgin box to soundbar HDMI IN, BluRay Player to HDMI 2, 3, or 4 whichever one you choose, if the dvd player is HDMI then choose whichever one you wish if not use the appropriate adaptor or Scart socket, thats it.
