I bought a new home cinema system (dav tz135) and it works fine for playing CDs and DVDs, but does not sync with the TV sound otherwise...
The delay is on the home cinema giving an echo. It is fine if the tv is muted - the delay is not enough to show an issue in lip sync.
The 40EX723 has no analogue audio out and the DAV only has analogue in, so I have tried it using the optical out through an audio converter and also using the headphone socket as the audio out. Same issue.
How come a Sony home cinema system doesn't work with a Bravia? So much for Bravia sync!
