DNLA Support for AAC on BDP-S580 and N200

Does anyone know when either the Sony BDP-S580 and/or N200 will support the playing of AAC (iTunes) files over DNLA? The technical documentation indicates 'via update' but does anyone know when the update will be available?

My BDP-S580 plays MP3 files very nicely over WiFi from my Buffalo DNLA server, but still can't play AAC even though it will play them from a local USB stick.

Thanks,

Lee

My N200 does seem to play AAC (m4a) files over DLNA however I had to change a DMA setting on my Synology media server to 'transcode' for AAC, so you might want to check what options you have on your Buffalo server.
