DVD player remote for DVP-SR760H, plus USB recording

Hi. Anyone have any idea 1) what the several fast forward/reverse controls do on the remote, and how to adjust their values? 2) Also how to record to USB, as Sony promise on their website? Thanks.

Hi howpeopletick,

Sony don't say that the DVP-SR760H records to USB. I have looked at their site and it says you can record to a USB stick from selected TV's, but as far as I know I have not seen them state this on their website or any other website I have looked at. Must admit, it would be good if it did record to USB, but I suppose you would have to pay a lot more for it if it did.

Hi and many thanks for replying - as it happens Sony had originally promised this USB record feature on their website, but later admitted to me that it was their mistake, and it doesn't. They also sent me a link to a much older model from the dim and distant past which had a full instruction book [remember those?!] and which illuminated what the various buttons did.  Mike
