DVD+RW won't format on HXD890 any more

My HXD890 used to record DVD+RW, now it gives the message "cannot format this disk", but it works fine for DVD+R. Any suggestions as to what the problem could be - Thanks

The disk type is supported.

Have you tried another disk?

I've tried Verbatim and Tevion DVD+RWs - both used to work OK
