I have a problem. Which size can my Sony BDV-EF1100 play via USB?

I have a problem when I want to watch a 6 Gb movie in USB format on NTFS. I'm starting to watch the movie, but when I'm watching halfway through the movie, the movie stops. It happens with all the movies I put on USB with that size. Why is that happening?

Hi Enrique, welcome to the Sony Community 

The BDV-EF1100 will likely have the same file size restrictions as pre-2014 TVs, which I believe was 2Gb. A Sony EU Customer Service page points out that BRAVIA TVs of the same age as your player have 2Gb as a maximum file size. 

The Support page for the EF1100 has a link to a late-2014 firmware update, although it's not clear whether that will address the filesize limit issue.
