Can anyone explain to me why I cant plug in my USB harddrive and see whats on it ?
Whitout the SONY software asking me if I want to format my harddrive?
And then if I dont want to,,, I cant use it !
Whats wrong with Sony ???
IS is not the NTFS format on their system, should I throw the TV out tha door or what?

as far as I am aware NTFS is not recognised by a Bravia your external HDD needs to be formatted to Fat32..

But I wonder why they (Sony) say in the on screen manual to this TV, that they can handle up to 500Gb hard drives?
That is surely not FAT 32. And besides I dont think they are that stupid to install software that is almost 20 years old ? in a 2011/2012 old TV especially when NTFS has been around for ages....
No I was more or less leaning agains the fact that they are control freaks and that they want to prevent people from using their own recorded/copied films...
I dont know but I would like to...
