RDR-HXD860 and CX115E camcorder

Trying to connect the camcorder to download he videos to edit and burn to disc.

The two scart sockets are connected correctly to the Sky box and TV

The remaining spare connections on the HXD860 show 'out' only

As they are both Sony i was hoping they would be easy to connect.

Any ideas on what to do?

Hi Ron and welcome.

You will need to connect the camcorder using the AV Connecting Cable supplied with the camcorder.  Connect the Yellow composite video output and the Red/White audio outputs to the AV Inputs on the front of your HXD860.  Set the DVD Recorder to LINE 2 input to record from the camcorder.

Thanks very much for the info. Its wonderful what you find at the front of an item under the flap!!

There was me going round the back.Never thought of the easy way.

Just as an aside. I placed the the question via my laptop, and after 14hrs it still wasnt showing, so placed it again!!

This is from my PC and as you can see all is up to date.

I think it must be a glitch on the laptop( NOT a  Sony) as it doesn't seem to update two other forum sites i visit.

Anyway you will pleased to know all is working ok thanks to your reply. And in the nicest possible way i hope i dont come on here anymore, but if i do i will be assured of a very prompt and courteous response.
