Reception problem with HX870 DVD

Hi,

My TV has recently stopped receiving any signal via the aerial from my DVD recorder HXD870.  This appears to be a problem with the recorder as if the aerial is connected to the TV then all channels are present and likewise if the aerial is connected to the DVD recorder all channels are present.  The cable between the 2 is fine in fact I have also tried a new calbe to check this out. 

Anyone got any ideas?

Interesting issue. Was this working fine before? If yes, any changes made prior to getting this?

Are you sure you didn't change any setting? there is an energy saving mode that stop sending out the aerial signal when the recorder is in standby. If you have the problem only when the recorder is switched off, try checking out it and swith to no save or the energy mode that stop only the pass through for the SCART connection

Hi,

Thanks for the commment.  The problem occurs in standbya nd when power is on. We made no changes to the settings at al ljust came back from holiday and it wouldn't work.
