Recommendation for a good 2tb external hdd for Sony BDP-S390
Hi ,
Can someone recommend a good 2tb external hdd which will work solely with a bdp-s390 without aid of a pc.
I just rashly bought a wd mybook essentials not realising it always needs to be connected to pc- still like it but will be purchasing another model/brand for use with bluray player.
the Western Digital is the one recommended by Sony !, since i personally dont use one i believe it needs to be formatted in FAT32 in order for it to work.
I just got a Samsung portable 1Tb hard drive for my S370. I finally tracked down a program that would format it to FAT 32 from Verbatim as Windows will not format to the right format. Note it will only work for up to 1Tb drives. Also plugging a big hard drive into the S370 does slow down startup somewhat!
