Please can anyone tell me  how I can start up my Video player so that I can watch my videos.

Looking back at your previous post in regards to more information - I dont suppose you have a DVD in the drive that is automattically playing by any chance?

Hi

I turn my TV on and set it to the video channel ITV 3

I then switch on the recorder and a line of 4 horizontal lines appear.

I switch the remote to DVD/VIDEO and VIDEO and the Video sign comes up.

I press SETUP which then appears with the DVD logo and the Setup is not transferred to the TV.

Hi

Thank you Quinnicus for replying.

Both the DVD and Video trays are empty.

There is a way to manualy SETUP, for as it says in the intruction book the first time you SETUP it is automatic the second time it has to be done manualy.

I have tried and tried all to no avail its just a mystery to me.
