Sony HDD SVR-HDT1000 - iplayer access problems

I have connected my HDD pvr to the internet, but can I watch iplayer on it? unable to find out.

What can the player do when on the internet. Only thing I found is to watch 'The Space' on channel 117.

any ideas?
