Sony HT-AS5 display problem

hi everyone

i bought a sony HT-AS5 system in october..i love it to bits and that only one issue

when i try playing on my ps3 connected through it, i always get a 1-2 second blank screen and sound cut out..

i use high speed hdmi cable for all the slots and have tried experimenting with control for hdmi etc..the setup is ps3-reciever-1080p lg tv.. some times it happens in-game and that is the most annoying..usually i start the ps3 up and after the short intro the screen cuts for 2 seconds and returns again..it is minor but very annoying..please help guys..no optical cable used btw its all purely hdmi..i have tried my vaio in the DVD slot and that works perfectly doesnt cut out at all..so my guess is there is a setting on the ps3 but when the cut happens the receiver display doesnt indicate anything happening all seems normal.. so is it that the receiver is doing the x.v colour etc?

hi, i have just purchased the ht as5 and its a greatpackage for pound, i have also experienced the same problem, have you managed to resolve yours ?could it be that the ps3 is trying to upscale through the ht as5 ?

Hi.

I also have the same problem where the screen goes black for a second. IN addition I also get speckles and thin white lines occassionally. I've tried a few different HDMI cable and am now on a Sony high speed 1080p v1.3 cable. Is you issue resolved? If so can you advise? CHeers

Mine is doing the same. Please, Sony, look into this before I take my HTAS5 back for a refund.
