Oh help!
I have a Sony STR-DA2400ES receiver, where I wish to connect an external WD1TB HDD via my laptop using HDMI lead.
Now, the issue is...I have connected the HDMI via the rear of my Panasonic 50" plasma where I only receive picture, no sound! I have XBox360, Sky+HD & Panasonic Blu-Ray player on the IN on the receiver & the main HDMI lead going OUT into the HDMI1 of the Panasonic. I have 1 HDMI IN remaining where I want to connect the laptop/external WD HDD. I have tried this way, yet cannot get sound OR vision on the Panasonic! No matter which AV option I press on the Panasonic remote, I cannot get anywhere!
Can anyone please assist as I have numerous HD films awaiting to be viewed with an irate wife demading she watches them!!! Toys, toys, toys is all I get!! Lol
