Sony STR-DN1040 - audio output via both HDMI and normal speakers at same time?

Hi all,
I have a STR DN 1040 which works great. I have connected two B&W speakers to it and it urrently getting audio input via digital optical cable from my smartTV.

I am planning to purchase a JBL soundbar + subwoofer which has optical and hdmi as inputs.

Now my question: can the 1040 receiver simultaneously output audio via both the normal B&Q speakers and to the HDMI soundbar+subwoofer?
