Surround speakers screw thread

I have a BDV-E370 and want to mount the surround speakers on some stands I already have. Problem is that the screws that came with the stands do not have the same thread as the speakers.

Does anyone know what the screw thread is in the back of a BDV-E370 surround speaker so i can get some screws to mount my speakers? (Note that i cant wall mount the speakers, but will use the wall mount holes on the speakers to connect speakers to stand as a last resort!)

Thanks.

David

It appears to be M5.

I have the same system, and I measured mine yesterday by inserting a bolt, they're sized metric 8 heads (which means the thread is somewhat less, my calipers measures the diameter of the external thread as 4.6mm).

Does anyone know of a reasonably strong, orientable, black, and stylish set of speaker mounts that fit these speakers.  I want to screw them into a wooden ceiling, but I don't want to fix them to wooden batons as this risks introducing vibrations that will distort the sound.

Thanks in advance,
