Had the TV about 1 month and it keeps switching itself on at random times, including middle of the night. Have followed previous advice on here re switching timers/Bravia auto to off however still happens. No pattern to it. Help! Yours very tiredly...LP
FYI in case this happens to anyone else...we disabled the Chromecast app and that's worked. It's been picking up daughter's chrome cast and that of a neighbours!! We now will only have that switched on if we need it.
Can you let me know what you have connected to the TV? Any consoles or other devices? Can you try taking the batteries out the remote when you go to sleep so we can rule out any issues with that.
It was discounnected from the amplifier (also Sony) a couple of weeks ago therefore nothing else connected to it. I took the batteries out of the handset this morning and it has since turned itself on 3 times!
