UPB X700 won’t power up

When I switch to another device and turn off the UPB X700, it won’t power back on unless I unplug the power cord and plug it back in.

Did you try to reset the unit using instructions on this link (Page 24).

I spent a couple hours on the phone with Sony and they decided I could get a replacement if I wanted. I later figured out that if I plug the player directly to my TV it powers up and works fine.  The only thing is that my ARC tv won’t pass Dolby Atmos through the ARC port.
