This device isn't technically compatible with the UK version of Netflix. For some reason, probably down to your ISP giving you what appeared to be a US IP address, the device was able to see US services. I'm guessing that as your ISP has refreshed your IP address and now its giving you a UK IP, so the UK services are now visible which weren't previously.
So its not something that can be put back on there I'm afraid as it was down to an ISP glitch in the first place that it appeared. There are a few lines in the FAQ at the top of the page which go into a bit more detail.
