Hello
I have a brand new XW5000ES projector. Covered 45 hours so far,
At first I believed all was okay, until I played letterbox content, where I would at times see a green tint to the lower right. The brighter the image would be made, the more it would be seen.
This led me to investigate. With no source, almost 80% of the image has agreen tint rather than being black. With a source there is typically no change.
I altered the colour temp bias to +10 for each colour, which typically conceals the issue. You also no longer see the lens on the PJ as green when projecting black. However, this setting only applies when a source is active, and when it shows HDMI1 or HDMI2, the green tint returns. Typically each calibrated mode on the unit would need amended to conceal this.
Is the action I have taken to correct this to be expected, should i call this a calibration, or is this not right - thank you!
