Your TV features a digital TV guide, accessed via the Guide button on your remote. This blog gives you an overview of what it can do.
The standard guide
The standard guide window shows you a timeline for the next seven days. You can see all the upcoming movies and shows for each channel. You can scroll down, up, left and right using the arrow buttons on your remote. In addition, you can use the blue and yellow buttons to move one day ahead or back.
The time of day is shown in the header underneath the date. The two numbers in front of the programme title indicate start times (i.e. minutes past the hour).
You will notice that some shows and movies are highlighted by colour. The colours indicate programme types: Blue > Sport, Green > Drama, Brown > Music, Purple > Movie.
Click on any of the listed items to see further information about it e.g. for movies you can see information about the cast/crew. You have various search options when connected to the internet:
- List related content in this genre or list by actor
- Google search by title or actor to find similar content on the web.
You can watch or record a programme that has already been broadcast or, if the programme is coming in the future, set a reminder or timer recording.
To see what else the guide can do for you, use the left arrow button to open the guide menu on the left. You’ll find lots more options in this menu:
