USB Photo Viewer – show photos on the big screen Connect a digital camera such as your Cyber-shot or plug in a USB memory stick and you can view photos in amazing detail. The built-in Photo Viewer uses the hi-speed USB connection to help you view photos at their optimum on the BRAVIA big screen. You can adjust picture settings for colour, contrast and crispness, view photos at full screen or rotate them – even view slide-shows – all faster and smoother than ever before.
Don’t forget to use the Picture Frame mode for that added touch. Or connect your TV to the Internet and display photos taken with GPS on a world map. Sony Ericsson phones with GPS include the C905, Satio (coming soon), C901 GreenHeart™, C903, C702 and W995 Walkman®. You can also easily add a light, compact GPS unit to your Cyber-shot camera to record the position of your photos as you travel.
Hints & Tips
Your Cyber-shot will just plug and play; for other USB devices you might need to organise folders and files to match DCF (digital camera format) settings. Remember your BRAVIA TV supports JPEG files. |
|
USB Music Player – fill your room with sounds Listen to your favourite tunes or playlists through the amplified sound of your BRAVIA TV surround speakers. Just plug in any USB compatible VAIO, WALKMAN® or a USB memory stick and your music files will be transferred directly to the big screen. Then you can browse files (and album art too) and play music from your BRAVIA TV remote control, while you sit back and enjoy your favourite tracks.
Hints & Tips
For the fully immersive sound experience, add a Home Theatre System and really bring your tunes to life. Your BRAVIA TV supports MP3 format. |
|
USB Media Player – watch movies & videos in HD Use your USB Media Player to easily transfer movies to watch on your BRAVIA TV. Simply plug in a USB-enabled device and enjoy your favourite films on your BRAVIA big screen. What's more, because the media player is compatible with MPEG1 format videos, you can even watch video clips taken with your compatible Cyber-shot or HD Handycam in enhanced Full HD detail.
Hints & Tips
Your BRAVIA TV only supports MPEG format. We recommend you use a recognised brand name USB memory stick or drive, such as Sony Micro Vault. |
