M4 Ram issue, shows only 883 MB...

Hi, My m4 after update to andro 6 shows only 883 MB Ram... it has 2 GB Ram memory, why is not the whole memory working? Its not all, my front camera is not working and the system is working really slow... I allready have repaired my smartphone via Xperia Center but the issue still occures. Don't write to me that I should go to the local servis, because that is the last thing that I will do. There must be any solution...

Sir, I already contacted local support. They suggested me to replace motherboard which cost half of the New Xperia smartphone. I kindly want to ask only one question. Why Sony don't want to accept this fault. I never found this type of issues in any other brand, even Chinese products didn't face problem like this. Specially,  EVEN this issue only occur in SONY XPERIA M4 and not in other Sony smartphone. So it's clear that is seems like SONY GAVE FAULTY HARDWARES TO MAINTAIN THE PRICE TAG OF XPERIA M4. SIR SORRY IF YOU MIND BUT YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEMS WHICH WE ARE FACING NOW AND PLEASE STOP SUGGEST ME TO CONTACT LOCAL SUPPORT. Why I Pay 8000 Indian Rupees,  I didn't do anything wrong.  This is your company fault and you should recall all XPERIA M4 and solve this Issue. I FEEL SO TIRED TO GIVE MESSAGES TO SONY. Even I don't know how many times I reply in Sony for my Solution. I'm seriously Disappointed with You.😑😡😡😡

i have the same problem i made factory reset  the same problem ,some times work ok   some times didnot i open the back of mobile and remove any socket and the metal cover (]iron covers) and clean it with a brush and alcohol  well then i but it for 2 hours in the sun be carful all metal cover are connected to some scokets so remove it up sloley  no it work fine  i write this while it work 6 hours ok  and i will observe it work hope it solved

I have the same problem but I can't use the pc companion. The blue screen doesn't let me in the download mode it's very frustrating 😤 please if someone knows how to solve ilease tell me.

Our 20k phone was gone due to your MM update you must solve this problem component failure is not our mistake its your mistake......we have only 200mb free ram,front camera icon was disappeared,back camera is not working properly......whether you should replace the mobile or otherwise you should solve this problem...20k is not a small amount....m4aqua issue is a black mark for sony...please solve it soon....

Hi @sony02, I am very sorry to hear that your device is affected by this.  

As I mentioned in a previous post, I am sorry to say that I can only refer you to have your device sent to an authorized service center in order to have it examined by a technician. I wish I could help you with this, but I am only familiar with Swedish service routines, warranty terms and consumer laws, so I recommend getting in touch with your Local support in order to be assisted with this.

i have done allthose steps now i have the bug report saved on drive , but still have 833mb of ram

My recommendation would be to have your device sent in to an authorized service center so that a technician may have a look at it for you, I wish there was more I could ask you to try. In order to have it sent in, I advise that you get in touch with your Local support so that they may assist you since they have great knowledge of the local service routines and warranty terms.

Hey all, i had same problem with my M4 before, blue screen, ram just read 883 mb, suddently restart, and very difficult to turning on.
I get problem after upgrade to marshmallow. I have been tried to reset, flash software, and downgrade, but my M4 still problem.

But now the problem has been solved.
Root cause of problem on my device is bad emmc connection.
I found it when i tried to hit my m4 caused felt angry, but my device be normal.
So i tried resolder the emmc n test.

I don't know what the related problem bad hardware connection with upgrade software, but that's actual root cause the problem on my M4.
Currently i use the latest update of android 6 on my M4.

I hope my experience can help you to finish this problem.
