USB connection to the PC

Just want to know, I have connect my M5 with a usb cable to my PC, it is charching, but it seems the PC does not pick it up. Can the problem be the cable , the M5 or the PC?

when you connect the device to the pc, try to look at your device, it will give a prompt of what you want to do. like, charge only (default) or manage files via MTP,

to make it automatically detect your device, try to dowmload XPeria companion
