Will my 5v 2.4 amp car charger work well whit my XPERIA M4?

Hi, I would like to know if my 5v 2.4 amp car charger work well whit my XPERIA M4 because when I connect it, the phone heat up more than the wall charger

A higher amperage will charge the device faster as we keep telling people, however some say in long term it may affect overall battery life. Although, it is not recommended to use other than original sony chargers and adapters.

Hi @patinop,

As alexdon stated we do not recommend that you use non-Sony chargers to charge your phone. But using a charger with a higher mAh value can make the phone charge faster which in turn can make the phone heat up more, though the phone does have protection from overheating.
