SD card has many system files

Hey guys, I have a Xperia mini ST15i. My SD card says only 250MB free outta 2 GB. When I go through my SD card in ma lappy, I see many system files/folders. I have only few of my pictures and 2/3 games, thats it. Rest of the 700MB is used up my system files like:  .adc, .android_secure, .com.mobisystems.office, .demovideo, .medieval_software, .remove_ad, alrms,Android, burstyImageCache, openfeint, CDAInfo, customizec-capability(XML doc), default-capability(XML).

Can I delete all these folders/files and bring up my memory? Can I just format my SD? I wanted to but just confused if my phone will ever work again!

The rest is data for apps,you should not delete.

What so out ofmy 2gb 1 gb is system files? So WOW! Thanks for the rep

If you have folders with com.etc they are from some default apps from sony.Also,there might be also data from apps that you have installed.
