Xperia ray won't turn on

My phone won't turn on properly, it loads like sony ericsson and they little animation comes up, but it does that over and over and i don't know what to DO? PLEASE HELP

How do i do that if it won't turn on?

it diesnt requires the phone to be switched on

just download the software and it will tell you what all to do,..

ince you cannot access your phone , all phone's data will be lost...

contacts  messages etc etc ,,,its the only way....sd card will not be affected..

i do have this same problem guys, I just have my new xperia ray. and while im exploring its features, i  downloaded the pc companion. along side with it i tried to update the phone software following the instruction. but my mistake my friend was also using the phone while it was updating. then suddenly it just shut down. then when we tried to turn it on again, it do have the sony logo but then an animated phone with an error sing come up. also the pc companion cannot detect the phone as well. please help......

This doesn´t work for me. The PC Companion seem to require that the phone is started.

Any tips?

He meant use SUS, not PCC,,
