I want to connect my Bravia KDL 46EX723 TV to my HIFI system to get better sound.
The manual says that the TV has an Audio Output via Phono Jacks (plural).
However, all I can find is a Heaphone Jack (singular).
Where are the Audio Output Phono Jacks?

Hi,
audio outputs (the phono ones) are the red and white ones on the side, however if you have an optical input on your hi fi you can use the optical out on your tv to your hi fi.
the optical out is on the rear of the tv.
Hi there
What you probably require is one of these:
www.amazon.co.uk/StarTech-com-6in-Stereo-Audio-Y-Cable/dp/B000A88L9E/
Its hard to advise without knowing the connections on the Hifi. But in many cases, that lead above will work from headphone socket on tv > Composite cable > RCA Audio IN on Hifi.

Hi
The Phone jack on the side works as headphone Jack or Audio out Jack , dual functions , you can configure it from TV menu to be Audio out for you hi-fi system.
Hi again,
the headphones jack is a separate point so ignore that unless you want to use headphones:smileywink:, the RCA phono jacks the red and white ones are marked R & L, but the optical out is the best way to go if the hi fi supports it.
hi , i also only have the red and black leads for audio out to my hifi , which worked well on my previous bravia.
please could you advise how to set this up on my current bravia -
