I have just bought a Sony KDL-40EX720 LED TV, a Sony BDP-S480 Blue-ray and a Sont STR-DH820. I have two main problems with this system...
1. I cannot get any of these products to operate with Bravia Sync - I have been through the manuals many times, done factory resets, activated HDMI sync etc etc.... The TV does not even recognise any Sony HDMI devices.
2. Un-related to Bravia sync (I think), The Blue-ray does not work at all throught the receiver. If I connect it directly to the TV I can play DVD's but not through the Receiver.
I am busy downloading the latest firmware for the Blue-ray which may improve problem 2.
Any ideas please as I am so frustrated having spent a fortune to get the Bravia Sync capability and yet cannot make any of it work....
