braviaKDL-40R483B colour banding issue

hello everyone im new here just regisderd im having really bad colour banding on my bravia the model is KDL-40R483B especially bad in dark scenes i currently have google chromecast and when watching iplayer etc its extremly fustrating is there anyone who  have any tips or solutions for this i got 4years ago now

iv tried playing round in the settings whats the best settings to have to optmise qaulity

It a bit of a long time 4 years to recognize such a problem...In any case if this is the case it is related to the panel hw and you cannot do anything about it

Hello thanks for your reply so disappointed with the telly don't even enjoy watching it its that bad what's the hw panel would it cost alot to get repaired I was reading about bias lighting would it be worth trying it cheers
